Lead Technician - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is seeking a Lead Technician for a project in New Albany, OH.

Key Responsibilities
•    Lead fiber installation, splicing, and testing activities on-site
•    Perform advanced fiber testing and analysis (OTDR trace interpretation, loss budgets)
•    Oversee fusion splicing for backbone, OSP, and ISP fiber networks
•    Ensure fiber routes, splices, and terminations meet design and performance requirements
•    Provide technical guidance and training to installers and technicians
•    Review and approve fiber test results and documentation
•    Coordinate daily work activities and sequencing with project management
•    Identify and resolve technical issues impacting schedule or quality
•    Enforce installation standards, safety practices, and best methods
•    Serve as the primary technical point of contact for fiber-related issues

Pay: $36
Per Diem: $110 / day for all 7 days
Schedule: Mon - Sat, 60h / week

Preferred Qualifications
•    OSHA 10/30 certification
•    FOA CFOT + CFOS/T (Testing) or CFOS/S (Splicing)
•    ETA FOT-OSP or FOT-ISP
•    BICSI Technician (TECH) or BICSI Installer 2 (INST2)
•    Fusion Splicing Certification (manufacturer or FOA/ETA)
•    Advanced Fiber Testing Credentials (OTDR trace analysis)
•    NICET Level II–III (ITS or Low Voltage)
•    Fluke Advanced Fiber Certification
