Project Manager
Trillium Construction is now seeking a Project Manager – Drywall & Steel Stud Construction for a direct-hire in Canton, MS!
Annual salary is $120,000 – $140,000 (DOE) Plus Per Diem. There will be up to 20% (site visits and client meetings).
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating drywall, steel stud, and metal framing construction projects. This role oversees projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents.
Key Responsibilities
Preconstruction / Estimating
-Lead preconstruction meetings to align scope, safety, quality, and production
-Review contracts with senior leadership prior to execution
-Support estimating and pricing for drywall and steel stud scopes
-Maintain strong understanding of project plans, specifications, and scope
Project Execution
-Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources
-Identify and mitigate scope gaps and project risks
-Manage and process all change orders
-Coordinate closely with internal teams and field leadership
-Conduct regular jobsite walks to monitor progress and quality
-Review WIP, billing, and financial performance
Client & Closeout
-Maintain clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders
-Coordinate final billing and change order resolution
-Drive projects to final completion and payment within required timelines

Qualifications
Required
-Experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager
-Commercial drywall and steel stud framing project management experience
-Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents
-Estimating experience using OST / QuickBid
-Proficiency with Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, PlanGrid
-Strong communication and organizational skills
-Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook (Mac/iPad experience a plus)
Preferred
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
-3–5+ years of construction project management experience
-Direct drywall / steel stud industry experience (estimating & PM)
-Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple projects
