Test Engineer
Trillium Professional is now seeking a Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL!
Job Duties:
-Designs, develops, implements and executes cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
-Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.
-Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
-May be responsible for setting the parameters and testing of production products.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
-Work with the design team and customer to formulate test requirements
-Prepare test matrix for new IC and/or FPA test
-Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications
-Write test code for new IC characterization and probe test
-Prepare Teledyne characterization and wafer probe test stations
-Perform required characterization and production probe tests
-Write test procedures and test reports as necessary
-Support and on occasion conduct performance testing to ensure the product meets performance requirements under various conditions
-Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and repeatability
-Assist the design team in understanding and correcting any design deficiencies
-Assist other engineers in the performance of related duties
-Make sure equipment is setup timely
-Verification of new IC and/or FPA performance

Knowledge and experience in the following required:
-Electronic principles such as Ohms law
-Electronic components such as resistors and capacitors
-Basic understanding of CMOS circuits
-Ability to read schematic diagrams
-Ability to read, write and debug C #, Python, Verilog, and Microsoft Visual Basic code
-Ability to assemble printed circuit test boards and solder components is desired
-Imaging sensors, dewars and associated equipment is desired
-Wafer probe stations and associated equipment is desired
