Senior Project Manager

Trillium Construction is now seeking a Project Manager / Precision Concrete Specialist for a direct-hire in Fort Mill, SC!

Salary: $120,000–$135,000 (DOE) + Growth Opportunity to Senior Project Manager.

A well-established construction firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee precision concrete, heavy civil, and industrial construction projects. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a clear path to advance into a Senior Project Manager role based on performance and project complexity.

The Project Manager will manage the full project lifecycle—from preconstruction planning through execution and closeout—while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep concrete experience who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments.

Key Responsibilities
-Lead and support project teams with a strong focus on safety, quality control, and schedule adherence
-Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and communicate technical requirements clearly
-Coordinate project planning, scheduling, manpower, and resource allocation
-Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness
-Develop and implement cost-effective project execution strategies while maintaining budget compliance
-Understand and administer contract requirements, including notices and regulatory obligations
-Prepare agendas and lead project meetings
-Manage project documentation including subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, forecasts, and pay applications
-Develop high-level construction estimates, quantity takeoffs, and unit pricing
-Produce monthly progress reports and internal project updates
-Negotiate subcontracts and change orders with subcontractors, suppliers, and owners
-Draft owner correspondence, RFIs, and related project communications
-Assist with RFQ/RFP preparation and participate in proposal presentations
-Review submittals for compliance and coordinate with design professionals
-Identify opportunities for repeat business and future work
-Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies
-Utilize project management and scheduling software to manage timelines and deliverables

Required Skills & Experience
-Strong background in precision concrete construction and industrial project delivery
-Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-Solid understanding of project management software and construction documentation
-Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
-Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently

Must-Have Qualifications
-10+ years of experience in precision concrete construction
-8–10+ years of project management experience
-Proven ability to manage industrial, heavy civil, or large-scale concrete projects
-Working knowledge of superintendent responsibilities and field operations
-OSHA 10-Hour Certification
-Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications
-Experience in manufacturing, mechanical, or energy-sector projects
-Additional safety or trade certifications
-Familiarity with CAD or construction alignment software

Education
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
-Associate degree acceptable with equivalent industry experience

Physical Requirements
-Ability to travel to active project sites
-Capable of working extended hours as required by project demands
-Ability to sit, stand, climb ladders, and walk uneven terrain
-Occasional work in confined spaces or at heights
