Tool & Die Engineer

Direct Hire opening for an experienced Tool & Die Engineer to lead the T&E department of a major automotive supplier in Columbus!

The Tool & Die Engineer will direct overall operations of the Tool & Die Maintenance department which will include managing technicians, working with internal and external associates to include manufacturing, engineering, customer suppliers and customers. Tool & Die Engineer will have responsibility for inventory control and purchasing processes within the department and work with leadership to maximize ROI and increase productivity. 

Pay range will be $80,000-$100,000k annually depending on experience.

To be successful in this role, the Tool & Die Engineer will have:
-8+ years experience in stamping and die maintenance
-4+ years supervisory experience in similar environment
-Tooling design and development experience
-Experience with tool & die purchasing to include cost analysis and negotiation with suppliers
-Bilingual in Japanese is preferred
