Pipe Welder - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is now seeking Pipe Welders in Big Lake, AK!

Candidates will be working in a shop, 7x12’s. This is 1st shift, for 6 weeks (maybe longer), $42/hr BOE.

Pipe Welders:
-Welding pipe sizes from 2” up to 20”
-Welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and chrome pipe
-Performing welds using TIG and Dual Shield
-Following welding procedures and specifications
-Working from drawings and fit-up provided
-Maintaining weld quality and shop safety standards

**Weld Test Requirement-Must Pass**
-6G pipe weld test
-TIG root with Dual Shield fill and cap
-Weld must be X-ray quality

Requirements:
-Proven pipe welding experience
-Ability to pass the required 6G weld test
-Experience with TIG and Dual Shield processes
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
-Must wear PPE: hard hat, gloves, vest, boots, welding hood, fire resistant clothing
