Millwright - Per Diem Offered
Trillium Construction is seeking Machinery Movers / Millwrights for a project in Fort Worth, TX to support installation, relocation, and setup of data center–specific equipment within active and/or new data center facilities.
This role involves working on both mechanical and electrical scopes, safely handling critical infrastructure equipment, and operating material-handling equipment in a high-reliability environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform safe and precise rigging, moving, positioning, and setting of data center equipment including but not limited to:
o UPS systems
o Switchgear
o Generators
o Chillers
o CRAH/CRAC units
o Electrical skids and mechanical modules
• Utilize forklifts, telehandlers, machinery skates, jacks, dollies, and other material-handling tools to move and position equipment within the facility.
• Bolt up, align, and secure equipment according to manufacturer specifications and project drawings.
• Assist with mechanical assembly and support electrical scope work as required (non-energized unless qualified and authorized).
• Read and interpret rigging plans, lift plans, layout drawings, and installation documents.
• Work safely around sensitive, mission-critical equipment in live data center environments.
• Follow all site-specific safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements, and cleanroom protocols where applicable.
• Coordinate with supervisors, rigging crews, electricians, and mechanical contractors to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Pay rate is $33/hour. Per Diem: $100 / day for all 7 days. Schedule: Mon - Sat, 60h / week.

Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Machinery Mover and/or Millwright, preferably in data centers, industrial facilities, or mission-critical environments.
• Hands-on experience with:
o Forklifts
o Telehandlers
o Machinery skates
o Hydraulic and mechanical jacks
• Ability to safely move and place heavy, high-value equipment in tight or controlled spaces.
• Strong understanding of rigging fundamentals and load handling.
• Forklift Certification (Required)
• Telehandler Certification (Required)
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification (Required)
• Ability to work in active, operational data centers with heightened safety and security requirements.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver heavy equipment with assistance and proper tools.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous data center or critical infrastructure experience.
• Experience working around electrical equipment and understanding electrical safety boundaries.
• NCCCO rigging or signaling certification.
