Assembly Worker

Trillium Staffing is now seeking Assembly Workers in Roanoke!

Pay range: $18 - 27/hr, dependent on experience.

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling components and products according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Job duties:
· Perform mechanical or electromechanical assembly of parts and products using hand tools, fixtures, and equipment.
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and specifications.
· Verify part conformity and perform basic quality checks during assembly.
· Identify and report any defective materials or components to the supervisor.
· Maintain accurate records of work completed and time spent on each job.
· Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
· Maintain a clean and organized workstation according to 5S principles.
· Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality targets.
· Support packaging and labeling of completed assemblies as required.
· Assist with inventory tracking and material replenishment in the assembly area.

Qualifications:
· 1–3 years of experience in mechanical or electrical assembly preferred.
· Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high attention to detail.
· Basic knowledge of hand tools and measurement instruments.
· Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs during the shift.
· Team-oriented with good communication and time management skills.
· Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment.
