Trillium Staffing is now seeking Warehouse Workers in Roanoke!

Entry / Support/ Driver responsibility: $18 – $21/hr
Experienced/ Driver responsibility: $21 – $25/hr
Lead-level / Driver responsibility: $24 – $28/hr

The Warehouse & Logistics Specialist plays a key operational role in executing day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, material handling, staging, shipping, and traceability. This position supports the Warehouse Supervisor by ensuring material readiness, documentation accuracy, and smooth flow of parts to support production and delivery schedules. Success in this role depends on strong communication, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset toward learning and team collaboration.

Job Duties:
-Receive and inspect incoming raw materials, hardware, tooling, and supplies.
-Verify shipments against packing lists and purchase orders; identify shortages and damage.
-Label and store inventory according to procedures and traceability standards.
-Pull, stage, and issue materials and hardware based on production schedules.
-Assist with packaging and shipping of finished goods per customer and internal specifications.
-Prepare shipping documentation including packing slips, bills of lading, and certifications.
-Load/unload trucks and coordinate with carriers for inbound/outbound freight.
-Perform pickups and deliveries to local subcontractors as needed.
-Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the warehouse.
-Support accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
-Ensure proper traceability of materials, including heat/lot number and certification records.
-Collaborate with production, quality, and shipping teams to support on-time delivery.
-Operate forklifts and handling equipment in compliance with safety standards.
-Support the Warehouse Supervisor in executing daily priorities and warehouse plans.
-Escalate material or delivery issues proactively to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption.
-Participate in improvement efforts related to warehouse flow, organization, and documentation.
-Demonstrate ownership and initiative in assigned responsibilities while seeking cross-training and growth opportunities.
-Assist with mentoring and onboarding of new warehouse personnel under the guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor.

Qualifications:
-2–4 years of experience in warehouse or shipping/receiving in a manufacturing environment.
-Ability to read and follow packing slips, POs, and material specifications.
-Forklift certification or experience preferred.
-Strong attention to detail, good communication, and team-oriented work ethic.
-Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
