Powder Coater
Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Powder Coater / Painter for full-time work in West Bend, WI!
Reporting to the Paint Supervisor, the Powder Painter is responsible for applying powder coating to production parts using manual and automatic equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge of powder application, attention to detail, and the ability to support other paint department operations as needed. Good housekeeping, organization, and teamwork skills are essential.
2nd shift (M-F, 1:30pm-10pm). Pay: $17-22/hr based on experience. For 2nd shift, a $2 shift premium is added when they are hired in.
Responsibilities
-Apply powder coating using manual powder guns and automatic systems
-Perform color changes and clean powder equipment
-Troubleshoot powder application issues and follow application instructions
-Conduct preventive maintenance on paint line equipment
-Inspect parts for defects, mark nonconforming product, and report quality issues
-Maintain a clean, dust-free powder room and work area
-Support Paint Tech 3 duties and assist in all areas of the paint department as needed
-Work overtime as required to meet production or maintenance needs
-Follow all plant safety and quality standards
-Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
-Minimum 2 years of powder coating experience (or internal promotion)
-Knowledge of powder application processes, basic print reading, and torque values
-Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
-Basic computer skills
-High school diploma or GED
-Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask
