Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Service Technician to support the inspection, repair, and preparation of our modular building fleet.

This hands-on role is ideal for a versatile trades professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do
Safety & Workplace Standards
-Follow all safety, transportation, and environmental policies
-Promote a safe work environment through training, observations, and regular safety practices
-Participate in scheduled safety meetings
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Fleet Maintenance & Repairs
-Perform repairs and maintenance on modular buildings, including:
-Framing and finish carpentry
-Flooring, painting, and general repairs
-Light electrical and plumbing work
-Running gear and structural components
-Conduct check-in and check-out inspections of rental units to identify repair needs and customer billable damages
-Complete customer-requested modifications
-Perform HVAC system checks and basic maintenance per company guidelines
-Ensure units are prepared on time and meet quality standards for scheduled deliveries
-Support service work in the yard and at field locations as business needs require

Customer Service & Documentation
-Provide professional, courteous customer service in person and by phone
-Clearly explain repairs and services performed
-Maintain accurate paperwork for service calls, deliveries, and pick-ups
-Manage inventory of tools, equipment, parts, and service materials

Qualifications
-Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
-Carpentry experience required
-Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities
-Experience interacting with customers, contractors, and internal teams
-Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or welding experience is a plus
