Quality Inspector
Trillium Staffing has an immediate opening for a Quality Inspector in Dayton, OH for a Contract-to-Hire Opportunity (90 Days)!
High performers will be considered for permanent placement.
Schedule:
• 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Overtime may be available based on production demand
Pay Rate:
• $21.00 per hour
Quality Inspectors are responsible for performing visual and basic measurement inspections on manufactured truck components, primarily truck steps. This role is based onsite at a manufacturing facility and supports quality standards by identifying cosmetic and functional defects.
Key Duties:
• Conduct visual inspections and measurements per quality standards
• Determine acceptable vs. non-acceptable product conditions
• Accurately record inspection results in a digital system
• Follow inspection processes and work instructions
• Communicate effectively with team members onsite
• Maintain inspection tools and equipment
• Comply with all safety rules and site guidelines
• Present a professional appearance at all times

Qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable communication skills
• Comfortable using smartphones or tablets
• Ability to perform repetitive inspections with consistency
• Ability to measure accurately using a tape measure
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, or similar tools is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required
