Class B Truck Driver
Trillium Drivers is now seeking CDL Class B Boom Truck Drivers for direct-hire in Fort Wayne, IN!
Pay rate is $24- $28 per hour; DOE, with OT after 40 hours. Schedule is Monday - Friday, possible weekend work. Start time is 6:00am, 8 - 10 hours per day.
Position Overview:
-Operates crane or boom on delivery truck, including rigging, planning and hoisting of a variety of heavy construction materials.
-Drives delivery vehicle to transport product, materials or supplies to and from locations and at customer site.
-Loads and/or unloaded materials that require the operation of a crane/boom by rigging, planning and hoisting a variety of heavy construction materials onto delivery trucks.
-Calculates the boom/crane capacities and weights and checks clearances so that buildings, hydro wires and foundation of the machine will not be damaged during operation.
-Calculates weight of materials to ensure it is not over weight limits of the truck and/or DOT regulations.
Miscellaneous:
-Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds, perform tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing, and kneeling.
-Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.
-Knowledge of basic math and measurement skills
-Ability to read and understand machine and equipment diagrams and system schematics
-Proper and thorough Pre and Post trips are crucial.
-Must be self-directed, self-motivated, confident, and decisive. -Excellent customer service skills are a must.
-Must have knowledge of DOT regulations, Electronic Logging Devices, and Hours of Service rules.
-Driving company vehicle safely and responsibly per DOT regulations.

-Valid CDL Class B License.
-Minimum of 2+ Year of Recent and Verifiable Class B Experience, and 1+ Year of Boom/Crane Experience.
-Valid DOT Medical Card.
-Clean MVR.
-Clean Background.
-Ability to Pass Pre-Employment Screenings.
