Corporate Counsel
Trillium Staffing is now hiring for Corporate Counsel to join the corporate location in Kalamazoo, MI!
The Corporate Counsel role supports company leadership and internal teams by managing and coordinating legal activities across the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing contracts from initiation through closeout, advising on employment and regulatory matters, identifying legal risk, and ensuring consistent application of company policies and applicable laws.
This is an on-site, in-seat position based in Kalamazoo Michigan, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Annual salary range is $100,000 – $115,000/year.
Key Responsibilities
-Review, analyze, and support negotiation of contracts, agreements, and related legal documents
-Manage contract intake, internal approvals, execution, renewals, and recordkeeping processes
-Identify legal, compliance, and business risks and escalate issues as appropriate
-Maintain and update contract templates, key terms summaries, and tracking systems
-Serve as an internal resource for contract interpretation, legal guidance, and process support
-Coordinate with outside counsel on contract-related and legal matters as needed

Qualifications
-Juris Doctor (JD) required
-Admission to the Michigan Bar, or eligibility for admission, preferred
-1–3 years of experience in corporate, commercial, or contracts-focused legal work
