Rigger - Per Diem Offered

Trillium is now hiring Level 2 Certified Riggers in Abilene, TX!

We are seeking a Level 2 Certified Rigger to support lifting and rigging operations in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner. This role will also require steel connecting at times, including setting and securing structural steel during crane operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with complex lifts, steel erection activities, and a strong commitment to safety.

Pay is $28 DOE and $115/day for days worked in per diem for qualified travelers 100+ miles from the jobsite. Schedule is Mon - Saturday working 50-58 hours per week for 1+ years.

Key Responsibilities
-Perform advanced rigging activities in support of crane and lifting operations
-Assist with steel connecting, including guiding, aligning, bolting, and securing structural steel
-Select, inspect, and properly use rigging equipment (slings, shackles, chains, hooks, etc.)
-Calculate load weights, centers of gravity, and rigging configurations
-Communicate effectively with crane operators, lift directors, and site supervision
-Assist in planning and executing critical or complex lifts
-Conduct pre-use inspections and identify unsafe conditions or defective equipment
-Follow all site safety rules, company policies, and regulatory requirements
-Mentor or assist Level 1 Riggers as needed

Required Qualifications
-Level 2 Rigger Certification (NCCCO or equivalent)
-Minimum [X] years of rigging experience in construction, industrial, or steel erection environments
-Demonstrated experience with steel connecting and working at heights
-Strong knowledge of rigging hardware, load charts, and lift planning
-OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (preferred or required, if applicable)
-Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform work in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications
-Ironworker or structural steel erection experience
-Experience with critical lifts or specialty rigging
