Welder

Trillium Construction is seeking experienced MIG / Flux-Core Welders for a project in Tucson, AZ to fabricate and weld structural steel components, including panels, structural beams, columns, and channels.

The ideal candidate will have strong structural welding experience, be safety-focused, and capable of passing a certified weld test. Position temp to hire. 

Key Responsibilities
•    Perform MIG and flux-core welding on structural steel components
•    Weld panels, beams, columns, and channels according to drawings and specifications
•    Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols
•    Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards
•    Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
•    Maintain a clean and organized work area
•    Follow all OSHA and company safety requirements

Pay rate is $28+/hour. Schedule: Mon - Sat, 50h / week. Apply now!

Qualifications
•    Minimum 3 years of prior structural welding experience
•    OSHA 10 certification required
•    Proficiency in MIG and flux-core welding processes
•    Must successfully pass a 3G and 3F weld test
•    Ability to read blueprints and structural drawings
•    Experience welding carbon steel in shop or field environments

Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience with structural steel fabrication shops
•    AWS certification (preferred but not required)
•    Familiarity with welding codes and standards

Physical Requirements
•    Ability to lift up to 50lbs
•    Ability to work in shop or field environments as required
