Rigger - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is seeking experienced Riggers to support industrial construction and installation projects in the Reno area.

Riggers will be responsible for safely preparing, moving, lifting, and positioning heavy equipment and materials in accordance with site plans and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
-Perform rigging and signaling for cranes, hoists, and forklifts
Select, inspect, and properly use rigging gear (slings, shackles, chains, hooks)
-Secure loads and guide equipment into place safely and efficiently
-Read and follow lift plans, drawings, and verbal instructions
-Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all site safety requirements
-Communicate clearly with crane operators, supervisors, and crew members

Work Environment:
Industrial construction site; may involve outdoor work, heavy lifting, extended standing, and varying weather conditions.

This is a 7 day per week project.  Lots of OT.  7 days 12 hours - 7am-7pm.  Pay is $28-$32 per hour.  $100 per diem for 7 days This is a secure site, so the pre-screening will be background and drug screen before anyone is on site. Must show up on time everyday, be professional and take and follow direction.

Qualifications:
-Previous industrial or construction rigging experience required
-Knowledge of proper rigging techniques and load calculations
-Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and elevated work areas
-OSHA 10/30 and NCCCO rigger certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
-Able to pass background and drug/screen
-Reliable transportation and ability to pass site requirements
