Automotive Dismantler

Local recycling company is looking for skilled bilingual individuals to work as an auto dismantler at their yard in Urbana.

This Auto Dismantler will work Mon-Fri 7:00 A.M.-3:30 P.M. with possible overtime on the weekends. Pay rate is $17/hour.

Job duties will include:
-Remove fluids from vehicles for recycling.
-Remove parts from vehicle for recycling.
-Maintain organization in the yard and capture upgrades.
-Safely operate front end loader and forklift.
-Operate pneumatic tire machine and process used tires for resale.
-Complies with established company policies and procedures.
-Perform materials handling tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, moving products within the Yard and organizing inventory.
-Follow safety protocols and adhere to OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
-Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or repair needs.
-Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders.
-Assume other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
-Proven experience operating heavy equipment.
-Proficiency in materials handling techniques and knowledge of operations.
-Ability to operate forklifts, and other relevant machinery.
-Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately record information and maintain inventory records.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
-Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions.
