Trillium Construction is hiring for Welders in the Quincy, MA area!

Pipe Welders will perform welding and fitting for both stainless and carbon steel pipes. These pipes are part of the infrastructure of a refinery, and the Pipe Welders may perform repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment in the facility. 

Candidates will utilize TIG, MIG and Stick welding on a variety of metals to include stainless, carbon steel, aluminum, copper and others.  Will also be asked to pull their own pipe and help out in some other areas of the facility when not welding/fitting. 

Pay range will be $36-$45/hr depending on experience and weld test results. Schedule will be 6:00am-2:30pm Mon-Friday. Infrequent on-call for maintenance related issues over the weekend.  If called in, you will get 4.5 hours just for coming in, plus any time worked will be OT. Relocation Assistance may be available and this role is direct hire!!

Experience required:
-Must be able to pass 6G Weld test on 3 different pipes (2” stainless Tig all the way out, 2” carbon steel Tig all the way out, 6” schedule 40 Tig root stick cover 7018)
-Ability to work at heights and outside
-Some experience in industrial/refinery settings is ideal
-5-10 years’ experience is ideal, will consider less if able to pass the weld tests
