Class A Truck Driver

Trillium Driver Solutions is looking for a Class A CDL driver for a regional driving position in Louisville, KY.

No automatic restrictions as the tractor is a manual transmission. Dry van trailer. Palletized freight. Driver will use manual or electric pallet jacks to load and unload when available. When pallet jacks are not available, driver will need to handle the pallets physically by bringing them to the back of the trailer for offload. Drivers are needed for making deliveries to hardware stores. Sometimes driver will need to be traveling on rural roads, however, the client is willing to accommodate if rural areas cannot comfortably handle a tractor trailer.  Route coverage areas are IN, IL, Morehead, KY, Western TN, and Cincy, OH. 

Schedule is Monday - Friday, average start time is 8 am but could be earlier depending on route. Average route when not overnight, is 8-10 hours. Driver needs to be okay with having at least 1-2 overnights a week, however, the overnights can vary from week to week. No overnights will happen over the weekend, only throughout the week. Pay rate is $28/hr + OT after 40 hours.

Qualifications:
-Valid CDL Class A Driver’s license.
-At least 1+ years of recent and verifiable CDL Class A driving experience.
-Clean MVR.
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
