Health & Safety Specialist
Join our client’s team as a Health and Safety Specialist and help ensure a safe, compliant, and productive work environment. This role is critical to maintaining workplace safety standards and supporting ISO initiatives, audits, and system development.

What You’ll Do:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety guidelines
- Inspect worksites and review working conditions
- Develop and implement OHS training programs
- Conduct root cause analysis and investigations for incidents and near-misses
- Maintain safety documentation and participate in ISO audits
- Implement preventive and corrective actions

Must-Haves:
- 2+ years of experience managing or supporting workplace safety and compliance programs
- Working knowledge of OSHA/OHS regulations
- Familiarity with state and local safety statutes (fire safety, hazardous chemicals, environmental, building, electrical, noise, pollution)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of emergency response planning
- Ability to implement preventive and corrective actions
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and incident investigations
Nice-to-Haves:
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with WISHA and Washington State Labor & Industries
- ISO experience or exposure
- Bilingual is a plus (not required)
