Injection Molding Technician

We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician to support 2nd shift operations.

This hands-on role is responsible for monitoring the performance of molding machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment, while providing supervision and guidance to other technicians on shift.

Key Responsibilities
-Start up, monitor, and shut down injection molding machines
Set, adjust, and optimize processing parameters (temperature, pressure, gate timing, etc.)
-Troubleshoot molding defects including flash, short shots, warping, and other issues
-Audit and maintain accurate process logs to ensure performance standards are met
-Manage material and color changes effectively and efficiently
-Supervise 2nd shift team members, ensuring productivity, quality, and safe work practices

Qualifications
-3+ years of injection molding experience
-Proficient in processing materials such as Polypropylene and HDPE
-Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
-Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs regularly
-Must wear required PPE at all times
