Trillium Professional is now seeking a Help Desk Administrator in  the Canton/Sharon area for a direct-hire placement!

Salary range ideally in the $70-80k range.

Help Desk Administrator – under the direction of IT Director the Help Desk Administrator is responsible for end user technical support and assistance with systems administration. Support issues will range from initial system setup (including hardware and software for desktops, and laptops) to troubleshooting application issues, to basic server-side support. 

Job Description/Responsibilities:
•    Resolve user-reported problems using available tools and following command procedures and policies.
•    Provide PC computer technical support for Windows 11, Windows Server, software, and peripherals.
•    Routine hardware set up, troubleshooting and replacement, software installation and evaluation, and use of various spreadsheet, word processing and database application programs.
•    Maintain Virus protection and windows update system, making sure all end user workstations are up to date; BitDefender/Action1.
•    Routine research and implementation of compliance solutions in accordance with established guidelines.
•    Provide accurate and timely logging of support requests and resolutions in the HelpDesk application; Lansweeper.
•    Contribute to technical support documentation of resolutions, processes, and procedures.
•    Able and willing to learn new, as well as existing technologies.
•    Must have strong work ethic to work independently with minimal supervision and communicate effectively.

Skills/Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or equivalent. 
•    3+ years of help desk and support experience required.
•    Ability and skills to provide routine troubleshooting for hardware and software in a networked environment.
•    Experience with automated update utilities for Microsoft Windows 11, Server and Microsoft Office.
•    Experience with Microsoft Group Policy Objects.
•    Experience with Active Directory Users, Groups and Security.
•    Experience with Office 365 Tenants.

Bonus Skills:
•    Understanding of network topology, including VLAN segmentation
•    Experience with Arista switches.
•    Experience with Avaya IP Office phone system.
•    Experience with ERP software (Epicor).
•    Experience with SQL Server, Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services.
•    Experience with Linux, drive encryption and Hyper-V.
