Project Manager
Trillium Professional is now seeking a Project Manager in Richmond!
The client is seeking a Project Manager for a new system implementation that is a high-risk project and will require strict adherence to the requirements in this posting. This position is fully in-office, the selected candidate will work at the offices in Richmond, VA. There is no hybrid or remote option. Pay rate is $80/hour.
Because this is a high-risk project with high visibility and significant complexity, the Project Manager will be required to work in a fast-paced, potentially stressful environment. Relevant experience in similar environments should be clearly documented in the applicant’s resume.
The department is currently undergoing development.
The duties of the Project Manager will include:
· Daily interaction with stakeholders, project team members, and internal staff.
· Attendance at virtual and in-person project meetings daily.
· Management of project performance metrics and recording of data.
· Adhere to requirements of internal Project Management Standard.
· Work in conjunction with members of the project team.
· Oversee coordination of the project calendar.
· Conduct briefings on the project status to internal and external audiences, including the Oversight Committee.

The required education and experience for this position are as follows:
· Active Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Must be provided with resume.
· Documented risk management experience.
· Successful completion of a Category 1 or 2 Commonwealth of Virginia project of $5M or more, or completion of a non-COV project with a value greater than $10M as PM of record.
· Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
· Familiarization with the Commonwealth Technology Portfolio highly desirable.
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
· Excellent client-facing and internal communications skills, written and verbal.
· Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
