Class B Truck Driver

Now hiring a Warehouse Manager / CDL Class B Truck Driver in Northbrook!

Trillium Drivers has a Temp to Perm opportunity out of Northbrook, IL for a Warehouse Manager/ CDL B driver role.

Schedule is Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm. Pay rate is $32 p/h. This has a driving component but is primarily inhouse shipping receiving manager position with a bit of driving as needed. The main responsibilities are coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries, organizing tools for our construction sites and supplies, will manage company vehicles, we have 2 trucks and 3 passenger vehicles. The manager will drive as needed. We have another driver in house that is full time on the road.

Job duties:
-Responsible for loading, unloading and protecting high value finished woodwork /millwork with and without assistance depending on load requirements.
-Applicant will make deliveries and pick-ups as assigned- Most deliveries are local. -Loading and unloading of trucks from indoor receiving dock.
-Must be able to accommodate flexible start times and overtime as required for off hours deliveries to constructions sites.
-Duties when not on deliveries will include but not limited to preparing products for shipment and general clean up as well as basic maintenance and cleaning of company vehicles.
-Maintain jobsite tools list and safety protocols
-Manage vehicle maintenance

-Must possess CDL B license.
-Clean driving record.
-3 - 5 years experience.
-Forklift experience.
-Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a continuous basis.
-Ability to read shipping lists and engineering drawings.
-Basic computer skills with email and excel
