Autonomous Vehicle Operator

Trillium Drivers is now seeking Autonomous Vehicle Drivers / Operators in San Jose!

Autonomous Vehicle Driver driving experience a must!

Basic functions of this position:
-Must be able to safely drive test vehicles and manual and actuation mode and follow explicit instructions from engineers, operators and leads. 
-Monitor systems in vehicles to identify problems and troubleshoot and calibrate as necessary.
-Notice, track and report ongoing issues.
-Prepare vehicles for drivers including plugging/unplugging vehicles from power and network cables and follow a pre and post trip checklist.
-Understand the basic AV driving functionality,  AV tests, understanding ACC 

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone that loves to drive and be part of this revolutionary technology. Long term contract work with the opportunity to go temp to hire. Pay $30 per hour.

Qualities
-Fast reflexes, stamina, exceptional communication skills, team player, positive attitude, professionalism, and confidence in handling a high-performance vehicle.

Required
-Clear driving record, safety minded, reliability and commitment.
-Must have a flexible schedule to work weekends, 2 shifts available - afternoon and day shift (start times 1pm for afternoon shift and 8am for day shift).  Some travel required. 
-Must be prepared to work a schedule that will include working weekends but with 2 consecutive days off in the middle of the week.

You will be required pass an intense driving course on a racetrack:
• Driving and stopping at high speeds up to approximately 70 mph
• Able to accelerate and take a sharp corner (car will drift)
• React to the vehicles autonomous functions
• Handle the vehicle under wet road conditions.
