Trillium is seeking an Accounting Assistant in Powell!

This part-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity seeks a dependable, detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations and routine financial tasks.

The on-site role works closely with the CFO and finance team on accounts payable, vendor management, and general ledger activities. Ideal candidates are organized, process-focused, and eager to thrive in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities:
-Open, organize, scan, and route vendor invoices for approval
-Assign accurate general ledger codes to invoices
-Input and upload approved invoices into the accounting software
-Participate in weekly payment runs, reconciling invoices and preparing documentation
-Maintain vendor records and assist with new vendor onboarding
-Manage and organize both digital and physical financial documentation
-Support expense report processing and perform basic account reconciliations
-Contribute to special projects and finance initiatives as needed

Schedule is 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, roughly 20 hours per week. Hours are flexible and can be discussed during the interview. Pay rate is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).

-1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or administrative roles, or completed coursework related to Accounting, Finance, or Business
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and standard office applications
-Familiarity with accounting platforms like QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite is preferred
-Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and precision
-Ability to handle confidential financial data discreetly and professionally
-Willingness to work on-site in Powell, Ohio, for at least 20 hours a week (Monday–Friday)
