Trillium Staffing is now hiring a direct hire Floater Plant Supervisor for a corrugated manufacturing facility in Middletown, OH

Will transition between shifts (M-F):
- 1st Shift, 7:00 AM- 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM- 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift, 11:00 PM- 7:00 AM

Pay: $75,000+ based on experience

Position Summary
The Plant Supervisor provides direct leadership to hourly production employees to ensure safe work practices, consistent product quality, and efficient operations. This role supports the organization’s focus on high-quality service, strong working relationships, and reliable performance, while upholding values such as teamwork, accountability, integrity, and excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Able to work any shift as needed to cover vacations, training, or staffing gaps.
- Support and participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain schedule flexibility to provide coverage across the week as required.
- Work across production departments, including die cutting, flexo operations, specialty gluing, and corrugating.
- Utilize basic computer programs such as Excel, Word, production software (e.g., Kiwi or similar), and HRIS/timekeeping systems (e.g., ADP).
- Collaborate with Maintenance teams to support repairs and project initiatives.
- Promote and enforce safe work behaviors while contributing to a strong safety culture.
- Conduct safety and quality-related training for team members.
- Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to established standards.
- Review and follow food safety or production quality policies (such as SQF or comparable systems).
- Ensure all work centers are properly staffed and coordinate with HR or staffing resources for personnel adjustments, including temporary labor needs.
- Oversee product flow to meet production schedules and support on-time deliveries.
- Evaluate machine and department efficiencies, providing coaching when targets are not achieved.
- Administer corrective action for quality issues, attendance concerns, or behavioral violations.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment.
- Comply with all company policies as well as applicable government regulations.
- Work overtime as needed based on business demands.
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Work Environment / Physical Demands
- Fast-paced production environment with shifting priorities.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, handling materials, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, and hearing.
- Occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 lbs.
- Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Regular exposure to moving machinery, loud noise, vibrations, and varying environmental conditions including humidity, wet areas, and elevated workspaces.

Education and Experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 months of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.

Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Experience in corrugated manufacturing (required).
