HVAC Tech

Trillium Construction is seeking HVAC Techs for a project in Albertville, MN who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate for this position is a reliable professional with extensive experience in HVAC systems. We are looking for HVAC Techs who have a problem-solving attitude, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical systems related to HVAC equipment.

Key Responsibilities
-Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, and refrigeration systems.
-Inspect and test HVAC systems and components for any problems.
-Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure system longevity.
-Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various HVAC systems.
-Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
-Record HVAC maintenance and repair work performed and keep a record of the type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
-Respond to emergency calls for HVAC problems.
-Provide excellent customer service and explain to customers what repairs are needed and what has been done.

Pay: Up to $40
Schedule: Mon - Thurs (occasional Fridays), 40h / week, 4p - 2a
*OT opportunities available down the line

Qualifications
-Must pass pre-employment screenings
-Proven experience as an HVAC Technician.
-Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
-Working knowledge of boiler systems.
-Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
-Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work in confined spaces.
-Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
-High School Diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
