Grinder
Trillium Staffing is hiring a full-time Grinder Hand / General Laborer for a metal shop in Fenton.
This position involves grinding parts, sandblasting, and general shop support. Candidates may also be asked to assist with torch work or operate a CNC spinning lathe.
Responsibilities
-Grind and finish metal parts using hand tools and surface finishing equipment
-Sandblast components as required
-Read and follow work orders and basic measurements
-Assist with torch work or CNC spinning lathe operation when needed
-Maintain a clean, safe work environment
-Stand for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
Compensation & Benefits
-Starting pay: $18/hour, paid weekly through the agency
-Full medical benefits after 60 days once hired in
-401(k) eligibility after one year
-Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential
-1st shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm

Qualifications
-General labor or metal shop experience preferred
-Knowledge of hand tools and measuring instruments a plus
-High school diploma preferred
