Assembly Worker
Trillium Staffing is now seeking a High Pressure System Assembly Worker in Novi for full-time work!
Seeking a hands-on technician to support the assembly and testing of high-pressure gas systems (up to 15,000 PSI). This role involves precision mechanical assembly, stainless steel tubing fabrication, and building test fixtures for system qualification. Ideal candidates are mechanically skilled, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment where safety and quality are top priorities.
Key Responsibilities
-Assemble high-pressure gas and fluid systems using cone-and-thread, Swagelok FK, and similar fittings.
-Bend and route stainless steel tubing per engineering drawings.
-Fabricate fixtures, manifolds, and test assemblies.
-Read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and torque specifications.
-Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing up to 15,000 PSI.
-Conduct measurement, inspection, and documentation of assembly work.
-Maintain traceability and build records in the ERP/quality system.
-Work collaboratively with engineering and technical team members to resolve issues and improve processes.
-Follow strict safety and cleanliness procedures.

Qualifications
Required:
-High school diploma (trade or technical training preferred).
-2+ years of mechanical assembly or pressure system fabrication experience.
-Proficiency with high-pressure fittings and stainless tubing assembly.
-Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
-Basic machining/fabrication skills (saws, drill press, etc.).
-Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Preferred:
-Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems over 10,000 PSI.
-Pressure testing and leak detection experience.
-Background in hydrogen, aerospace, defense, or similar industries.
-Experience with ERP/work order systems.
