CNC Machinist

CNC Milling Machinist – Wixom, MI

We are seeking CNC Milling Machinists for our client in the Wixom, Michigan area. Our client is a full-service machine shop offering CNC milling, turning, and grinding services.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a starting pay rate of $30.00/hr DOE. This is a 1st shift role, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Overtime may be available on weekends depending on production needs.

Responsibilities:
-Operating HAAS CNC milling machines
-Set-up and operation of CNC mills for prototype, specialty parts, and small production runs
-Performing program edits and basic conversational programming at the machine
-Conducting quality inspections and performing in-process checks
-Reading and interpreting blueprints and work instructions
-Maintaining accuracy, quality, and consistency throughout machining operations

Requirements:
-Experience operating and programming HAAS CNC mills
-Solid machining and tooling knowledge
-3–5 years of CNC milling experience required
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
-Must be able to pass standard pre-employment screening
