Ironworker

Trillium Construction is seeking an Ironworker/Structural Welder for a long-term project in Wichita, KS who has hands-on experience with structural steel, standing seam and through-fastened metal roofing, wall panels, and architectural trim. Reliability, safety, and teamwork are essential.

Will be installing MBCI Metal buildings from start to finish will be responsible for structural frame, metal siding and roofing, insulation and trim work.

Key Responsibilities
•  Erect and bolt-up structural steel frames and components
•  Perform structural welding on beams, columns, and connections in accordance with AWS D1.1 standards
•  Safely and efficiently weld using 7018 electrodes and other SMAW processes
•  Inspect and prepare weld joints, ensuring high-quality and code-compliant welds
•  Install metal wall and roof panels according to manufacturer specifications
•  Fit, secure, and finish architectural trim, flashing, and closures
•  Use hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, and lifts to assemble and install components
•  Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, drawings, and layout plans
•  Work at heights using ladders, scaffolds, or aerial lifts as required
•  Assist with unloading, staging, and organizing materials on-site
•  Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and OSHA standards
•  Demonstrate familiarity with major PEMB systems (Butler, Nucor, Varco Pruden, etc.)
•  Operate boom lifts, forklifts, and other equipment as needed
•  Collaborate closely with team members to meet schedule and quality objectives

-D1.1 certification
-OSHA 10 
-CPR certified
-Rigging Certs
