Trillium Staffing is now hiring a Buyer in Midland, MI for a temporary role! 

Pay Range $20-25 Based on Experience.

Buyer Job Duties include:
-Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers based on quality, delivery, and price to meet organizational needs.
-Procurement & Inventory Control: Issue and manage purchase orders, negotiate pricing, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
-Cost & Quality Optimization: Drive cost reduction initiatives, resolve supplier performance or quality issues, and ensure continuous improvement in the purchasing process.

Buyer Qualifications:
-Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, with 3–5 years of purchasing/procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
-Technical & System Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook); experience with ERP systems preferred.
-Professional Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to collaborate effectively across departments and with suppliers.
