Project Manager

Trillium Construction is now hiring a Project Manager in Iowa City, IA. 

Our client is a General Contractor in Iowa specializing in commercial ground up projects like restaurants, retails, multi-family, etc. They are now hiring from a Project Manager to work out of their Iowa City office. This is direct hire opportunity with a salary up to $110K plus benefits like M/V/D, PTO, vehicle allowance, gas card, laptop, etc. 

Duties: 
-Lead and manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
-Oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
-Coordinate closely with superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owners to ensure alignment on project goals.
-Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones.
-Monitor cost control, change orders, and project documentation.
-Conduct regular project meetings and communicate updates with all stakeholders.
-Ensure all work meets safety standards, quality expectations, and contractual obligations.
-Build and maintain strong client relationships, representing the company with professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications: 
-5-10 years of project management experience in commercial construction.
-Proven experience delivering projects in education, healthcare, municipal, or light industrial sectors.
-Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and financial management.
-Exceptional leadership, organization, and communication skills.
-Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar project management software.
-Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
-OSHA 30 certification a plus; must demonstrate strong commitment to jobsite safety.
