Electrical Engineer

Trillium has an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer in Norfolk!

This Direct-Hire opportunity is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team in Norfolk, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and project management and will be responsible for leading and performing a wide range of engineering tasks in support of construction and development projects.

Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and perform engineering design work including calculations, computer-aided design, and referencing applicable engineering standards.
-Prepare and review complex project specifications, bid packages, and associated documentation.
-Manage and direct reporting on existing site conditions and construction progress.
-Collect and assemble detailed and complex project data.
-Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness in accordance with design intent.
-Maintain excellent communication with clients, contractors, officials, and internal teams to meet customer expectations.
-Prepare technical reports, studies, and proposals related to project scope.
-Oversee project documentation and review shop drawings for compliance with bid and contract documents.
-Apply financial concepts and understand project budgeting and cost control.
-Support business development activities by identifying, qualifying, and reporting potential leads.
-Perform other assigned duties as necessary to support project and company goals.

Annual salary is $120,000 annually DOE. Apply now!

-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
-Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
-5+ years of design experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
