Trillium is seeking a Process & Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Burlington, WA!
This Direct-Hire opportunity is seeking a Process & Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the development, optimization, and support of manufacturing processes at our Burlington facility. This full-time, on-site role is critical to improving equipment efficiency, product quality, and throughput across solar module production lines.
The successful candidate will oversee a team of engineers, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and manage cross-functional projects for equipment upgrades. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, highly automated environments and can apply statistical tools to validate and optimize processes.

Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and mentor a team of 4 engineers, with potential to grow to 6–8
-Drive process optimization using SPC, DOE, and Process Capability Analysis
-Collaborate with R&D and operations to transition new products into manufacturing
-Troubleshoot automation systems and support equipment upgrades
-Develop PFMEA and Value Stream Mapping documentation
-Apply statistical tools to validate processes before scaling into full production
-Influence and engage technical teams to achieve Six Sigma-level performance
Schedule: 1st Shift / Monday – Friday. Salary: $100,000 – $130,000/year + 15% annual bonus eligibility Relocation assistance available.

Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Electrical, Electronics, or Manufacturing Engineering
-Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience in fast-paced, automated manufacturing
-Strong background in robotics, PLCs, and electro-mechanical systems
-Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results
-Deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles and safety systems
-Hands-on, “boots-on-the-floor” approach to daily operations
-Experience with DFSS and product ramp-up strategies
-Ability to read electrical prints and collaborate with automation/maintenance teams
