Accounts Receivables/Payables Administrator needed in Springfield, MO!
This is a contract - 10-12 Weeks. Pay rate is $20-22 based on experience. Shift is 1st, 8:00-5:00PM (ONSITE).
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Administrative & Bookkeeping Assistant to support daily office operations and maintain accurate accounting records.
This role involves bookkeeping, administrative coordination, and customer service support to help ensure smooth business operations. Responsibilities may vary based on the specific needs of the location.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable and verify invoice accuracy; may assist with cash collections and posting of customer payments.
• Support the reconciliation of route or field team documentation, verifying signed invoices and payments.
• Research and resolve customer credit or billing inquiries; provide invoice copies upon request.
• Maintain organized filing systems for invoices and administrative records.
• Review statements to identify and resolve missing or misapplied invoices.
• Set up and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accurate billing and tax information.
• Collaborate with HR to assist with general employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, or other administrative matters.
• Manage general office functions, such as ordering supplies, coordinating mail distribution, and overseeing equipment maintenance.
• Support the development and maintenance of office procedures related to budgeting, recordkeeping, and expense tracking.
• Prepare reports and provide administrative support to management as needed.
• May provide guidance or oversight to other office support staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Recent experience (within the past 2–3 years) in an accounting or bookkeeping-related role preferred (6+ months).
• Prior general office or administrative experience required.
Skills & Abilities:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles and comfort working with numbers.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexible and adaptable to varying workloads and schedules, including occasional weekends.
• Comfortable performing repetitive computer-based tasks and working in a standard office setting.
