Customer Quality Engineer
Trillium has an immediate opening for a Customer Quality Engineer in Fort Mill!
This Direct-Hire opportunity is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer for its Fort Mill, SC facility to lead customer-facing quality initiatives and ensure high satisfaction through effective root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement. This is a full-time, on-site role acting as the primary liaison for customer quality concerns, overseeing RMA and RCCA processes, along with managing outgoing product audits, and driving cross-functional resolution of systemic issues. The engineer will supervise a small team, analyze warranty and inspection data, and present customer-facing reports while fostering a culture of quality and responsiveness.
Responsibilities also include developing and delivering quality initiatives, coaching team members, and managing customer quality projects that align with corporate quality goals.

Key Responsibilities:
-Lead customer-facing quality initiatives and manage RMA and RCCA processes
-Oversee outgoing product audits and ensure effective resolution of systemic issues
-Supervise a small quality team and analyze warranty and inspection data
-Present customer-facing reports and foster a culture of quality and responsiveness
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve customer quality concerns
Schedule is 1st Shift / Monday - Friday. Annual salary is $80,000 – $105,000 DOE. Apply now!
-Engineering background (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field)
-Proven change agent with strong leadership and customer-facing experience
-Hands-on, “boots-on-the-floor” personality engaged in operations and quality investigations
-Minimum 2+ years in customer quality or CX roles in fast-paced, automated manufacturing
-Minimum 1+ year in a supervisory or leadership role
-Certified Quality Engineer, Green Belt or higher, and Certified Lead Auditor required
-Proficient in SPC, Minitab, Excel, and experienced with QMS (ISO 9001), FMEA, CAPA, and inspection systems
-Experience in solar/PV manufacturing strongly preferred
