Production Worker

Meat Packager (Production Setting) needed at family-owned meat processing facility in Eastpointe, MI!

Shift is 6:00AM - 2:30PM, M-F. Pay rate is $17.00 an hour and this is a contract to hire after 90 Days.

Job duties:
-    Work with raw meats in production of sausages
-    Mix raw meats 
-    Accurately weight product
-    Occasionally operate meat grinding machinery
-    Rack meats
-    Help with the set up and tear down of machinery
-    Maintain organized/accurate records and paperwork
-    Work in a cold environment with temperatures ranging from 39-44 degrees Fahrenheit (dress in layers)
-    Assist with equipment sanitation, maintain a clean work area
-    Must be open to rotating throughout shift depending on production needs (all within meat packaging dept.)

-    This role requires the ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift. 
-    Candidates must adhere to facility food GMPs and will sign off on this policy to insure agreement.
