Carpentry Foreman

Trillium Construction is actively seeking a Construction Foreman in the Madison, Wisconsin area for a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Pay rate is $35-45/hour plus OT! We specialize in Post Frame and pole barn construction, and we’re looking for a motivated, hands-on leader to help guide our crews and keep projects moving forward. This is a working Foreman role, so you’ll be on-site daily, leading by example and making a direct impact on job performance and quality.

Responsibilities:
-Supervise and work alongside crew members in daily construction tasks
-Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on all job sites
-Oversee post frame building assembly and general carpentry work
-Coordinate material deliveries and manage job site logistics
-Train and support team members in both construction and safety practices
-Report progress and job site updates to project managers
-Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards

What We’re Looking For:
-Strong carpentry background (Post Frame experience highly preferred)
-Proven leadership experience in construction (Foreman, Lead Carpenter, etc.)
-Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in all conditions
-Strong communication and problem-solving skills
-Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
-Willingness to obtain a CDL within the first few months (we provide training/pay for it)

Bonus If You Have:
-Experience specifically with pole barns or agricultural buildings
-OSHA safety certification
-Ability to operate construction equipment (lifts, skid steers, etc.)
