Quality Manager

Trillium has an immediate opening for a Quality Manager in Burlington!

This exciting on-site, direct-hire position is seeking a seasoned Quality Manager to take charge of all quality aspects at the manufacturing facility, covering incoming materials, production processes, and final products. The successful candidate will oversee the Quality Management System (QMS), maintain ISO compliance, and lead initiatives that drive defect reduction and boost operational efficiency. This leader will guide a dedicated quality team, work collaboratively with operations, suppliers, and customers, and spearhead continuous improvement efforts to elevate product quality and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:
-Direct and support quality personnel, including technicians, leads, supervisors, and engineers.
-Manage quality assurance programs for raw materials, production stages, and finished goods alongside operations leadership.
-Oversee the QMS, execute internal audits, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and customer expectations.
-Monitor and report on key quality metrics, defect trends, and audit outcomes.
-Lead root cause investigations and implement effective corrective actions for quality issues.
-Develop, update, and enforce quality documentation such as SOPs and control plans.
-Partner with suppliers and customers to address quality concerns and establish acceptance criteria.
-Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, and FMEA tools to drive continuous quality improvements.
-Mentor and train team members on quality, best practices, and standards.
-Administer departmental budgets and resources to meet quality goals.

Schedule is 1st Shift. Pay rate is starting at $135,000+, commensurate with experience and skills. This is a unique chance for a quality leader eager to advance their career with a company driven by innovation and continuous improvement.

-Minimum 7 years’ experience managing quality in manufacturing, preferably within PV-related industries.
-Required certifications: CQE and CQM.
-Documented Scrap, Success, Audit, and Yield Rates along with KPI’s and productivity improvements
-Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally.
-Strong background in project and quality management.
-In-depth understanding of manufacturing certifications and quality standards.
-Proficient in interpreting Blueprints/GD&T and applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
-Detail-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or related field.
