Rod Buster - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is seeking Rod Busters for a project in Sheffield, IL. 

Key Responsibilities
•    Measure, cut, bend, tie, and place reinforcing steel (rebar) per project specifications.
•    Build and install rebar cages for foundations, slabs, and walls.
•    Read and interpret rebar placement diagrams and construction drawings.
•    Use rebar cutters, benders, tying tools, and related equipment safely.
•    Secure all reinforcement to prevent shifting during concrete pours.
•    Collaborate with form carpenters and concrete crews to ensure alignment and accuracy.

Pay rate is $32/hour plus Per Diem: $125 / day for all 7 days. Schedule: Mon - Sat, 60h / week.

Qualifications
•    5+ years of experience placing and tying rebar in construction settings.
•    Knowledge of rebar installation techniques and blueprint reading.
•    Physically able to lift 75+ lbs and work outdoors in all conditions.
•    Comfortable working at heights and around heavy equipment.
