Class B Truck Driver

Trillium Drivers is now seeking a CDL Class B Delivery Driver for a temp-to-hire opportunity!

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30 pm (must be flexible there are times where you need to come in earlier depending on the scheduled deliveries). Pay rate is $25.00 per hour O/T after 40.

Drivers will be operating a 2017 Isuzu cab over with a 22 ft long bed on it w/lift gate. Also have a 2018 Kenworth truck behind the cab on this truck is a crane and a 22 ft long bed w/lift gate. 

Driver will be delivering HVAC Material loaded and off loaded with two-wheel dollies and pallet jacks depending on what product is being loaded and unloaded. About twice a week, driver would driver to the Countryside, IL or Elk Grove, IL store to pick up their stock. This will need to be put on their stock pallets, wrap the pallets and put the pallets on the truck and secure the load. Most of the time there will be deliveries on the way up or on the way back. This could be parts, equipment, pipe, refrigerant and sometimes even commercial water heaters. When the driver is not delivering they will work in the warehouse to keep busy. 

We are looking for someone to represent our client and Trillium in a professional, polite way with a good attitude and excellent people skills. Drivers will ride along for the first week or two to learn how the routes work then drive with a passenger to observe everything is operating smoothly.

Qualifications:
-Valid CDL Class B Driver’s license.
-Hazmat and Air Brake Endorsement are required.
-At least 1+ years of recent and verifiable CDL Class B driving experience.
-Clean MVR.
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
