Quality Engineer

Are you passionate about quality, problem-solving, and continuous improvement? We’re seeking a Quality Engineer to play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your expertise will directly impact production, compliance, and customer trust.

What You’ll Do:
-Oversee and maintain established Quality Assurance operations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
-Review, approve, and update quality documentation used during product inspections.
-Support and maintain BRC certification by aligning production and quality data.
-Train and mentor new employees on quality testing, GMP, BRC Standards, and QA SOPs.
-Lead and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for customer-related quality issues.
-Monitor inspection data, verify accuracy, and ensure timely completion of quality testing.
-Conduct first-piece approvals after changeovers and maintain records.
-Prepare detailed reports on internal quality issues, customer concerns, and BRC audits/corrective actions.
-Drive compliance with GMP, BRC, and HACCP procedures.
-Partner with the QA Director to develop and implement continuous improvement strategies within the quality system.

What We’re Looking For:
-Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
-Strong knowledge of Food Packaging and/or Blow Molding processes.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent organizational and communication skills.
-Proven ability to lead training sessions and coach employees on quality procedures.
-Experience with SQF certification preferred (but not required).
