Human Resources Business Partner
Trillium Professional is now seeking a Human Resources Business Partner in Southfield, MI!
Pay range: $32-35/hour.
Job Duties:
-Responsible for delivery of professional activities.
-Works under a moderate level of direction and receives general guidance and direction from others.
-Responsible for own work results with impact on overall team goals.
-Analyzes possible solutions using standard techniques and/or procedures to determine course of action and may modify approach as needed.
-Resolves issues that are often varied and non-routine.
-Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline and continuing to acquire higher level knowledge and skills
-Partners with business and/or function groups to provide support and administration for many aspects of Human Resources in order to maximize the productivity and effectiveness of associates.
-Supports strong associate relations for the Company by gathering information from associates and managers during fact-finding conversations to make recommendations for coaching and discipline with associates.
-Typically handles more extensive or difficult investigations.
-Represents local management and associate perspective and provides recommendations to functional groups for improvement of Company policies and programs.
-Acts as affiliate point of contact to support data collection, analysis, program coordination, implementation and administration.
-Prepares and presents policy and program changes to Company and/or business/function group assigned.
-May serve on NA functional committees dependent upon area assigned.
-Fosters corporate culture through coordinating company activities, events and other programs.
-Performs other related duties as assigned.

-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance or related field.
-2-5 years of Experience as Human Resource Generalist or Human -Resources Business Partner in a corporate environment or related field
-1+ year of corporate experience
-Strong knowledge of labor and employment law.
-Strong written and oral communication skills and good presentation skills.
-Competent level of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
-Strong organizational and time management skills.
-Analytical skills.
-Strong customer service skills.
Preferred:
-Experience using data to tell a story and solve a problem.
-Experience in executing talent management initiatives.
-Experience in the manufacturing environment.
