Warehouse Worker
Warehousing/distribution center in New Albany, OH has immediate need for 2nd Shift Warehouse Workers!
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with general warehouse functions, including pulling and preparing orders for shipment
- Maintain and update storage bin locations as needed
- Help ensure the warehouse stays clean, organized, and safe
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions; follow all established safety guidelines
- Complete daily forklift inspections and operate forklifts as needed
- Maintain clear and regular communication with supervisors and team members
- Organize and shelve incoming inventory
- Use handheld RF scanners to accurately pick and verify items
- Package materials in accordance with established procedures
- Load outgoing trucks in a specified order for efficient delivery
$19-20/hr based on experience + OT. 1:00PM - 9:30PM. Temp-to-hire after 90 Days.

Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to learn internal inventory/ERP systems
- Able to interpret and navigate warehouse layouts to support workflow
- Proficient with basic computer operations
- Dependable and motivated work ethic with a positive attitude
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Capable of standing on hard surfaces for extended periods
- Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, humidity)
- Physically able to bend, crouch, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shift
- High attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach to work
- Must be adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced setting with shifting priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior forklift experience is a plus, but not required
- Training and certification will be provided—candidates must demonstrate the willingness and capability to learn equipment operation
