Mechanical Assembly Lead

Direct Hire opening for an established manufacturing company in Sheboygan Falls for a Mechanical Assembly Lead. 

The first shift Mechanical Assembly Lead will work with new automated equipment within their plant to ensure proper start-up and solve process related issues. The Mechanical Assembly Lead will be responsible for machine assembly as well, using both blueprints and job specs to complete the projects. 

This position requires up to 5 weeks of travel per year, both domestically and internationally which includes company paid food and hotel, along with a $6/hour premium when traveling and additional daily per diem!  Our company also has an excellent benefits package to add to the total compensation package.  Base pay is $27-$34/hr. Hours are Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm with some overtime as needed.

-Journeymen Millwright certificate or Associate’s in Electro-Mechanical ideal but will consider adequate experience. 
-Must have prior machine building experience. 
-Experience with CAD documents. 
-Solid Math skills including metric conversions.
-Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machine shop equipment.
-Ability to travel up to 5 weeks/year domestically and/or internationally.
-Must have or be able to obtain basic hand tool set.
