Electrician

Trillium Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial Journeyman Electrician for a new Planet Fitness build in Lexington Kentucky.

This is a ground-up commercial project requiring start-to-finish electrical installation. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, capable of working independently, and able to take a leadership role on the jobsite.

Responsibilities:
-Complete all new electrical wiring and installation for a brand-new commercial building
-Interpret and work from blueprints to install branch circuits, panels, lighting, and devices
-Run EMT conduit and MC cable to code requirements
-Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
-Communicate and coordinate effectively with other trades and the General Contractor
-Take ownership of the electrical portion of the project and lead the team on-site
-Work independently while maintaining productivity, safety, and quality standards

Project Details:
-Duration: Minimum of 3 months
-Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
-Hours: 40 hours per week
-Pay: Up to $36/hour (no per diem offered)

Requirements:
-Must provide all hand tools, including a cordless drill
-Full knowledge and understanding of NEC standards
-Verifiable commercial electrical experience on new construction projects
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints
-Proven leadership skills; able to run the electrical portion of the project independently
-Dependable transportation to and from job site
-Strong communication and teamwork skills
-Excellent attendance and reliability
-Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
