Project Engineer

Trillium Professional has a direct-hire opportunity for a Project Engineer Water/Wastewater.

Salary range is $110-130k. This role can be based out of Tampa, St Pete, Clearwater or Ft. Myers.

Job Duties:
-Provide engineering design support on water, wastewater, and reclaimed water projects.
-Perform hydraulic evaluations, design calculations, plan and profile drafting, and specification development.
-Support permitting processes with local, state, and federal agencies.
-Conduct field investigations, attend client meetings, and assist with construction-phase services.
-Collaborate closely with project managers and senior engineers to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
-Stay current on local utility agency standards and regulatory requirements.

-BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
-7+ years of experience in utility infrastructure design, including pipelines, pump stations, or treatment facilities.
-PE license required.
-Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D, Microsoft Office Suite, and hydraulic modeling tools.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Valid driver’s license and clean driving and criminal background.

Preferred:
-10+ years of hands-on design experience in water/wastewater systems.
-Experience with plan and detail production, permit submittals, and coordination with reviewing agencies.
-Familiarity with permitting processes in Florida (FDEP, local municipalities).
-Proficiency in Civil3D and/or Revit.
